The photographs in this section were taken on a trip to Zambia during August and September 2008. The trip started at Waterberry Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River which was close enough to visit the Victoria Falls. The next destination was in South Luangwa National Park at Kaingo Camp. The next move was to the more remote North Luangwa region which was reached by a small plane. The accommodation here was in the small Kutandala Camp which had to be accessed by wading across the Luangwa River, luckily with very little water flowing. The safaris from this camp were all conducted on foot since the area has no roads. At the conclusion of this section of the trip we flew directly to Lilongwe in Malawi in a small plane.
